Seventeen hundred miles of adventure, a journey of which I would take my first real steps into vineyards, winemaking, and the culture that molds concentrated flavors.

By this point I had already been studying wine for two years and had just past a few wine and beer certifications. The intrigue was growing, the tasting groups thriving, and the focus for more certifications intensifying.

But going back to Temecula was like learning about a neighbor with a secret garden, as I had lived in the town next door for two years while this area was building and blooming. This was to be the first step of an evolved love: travelling for flavors.
