Lago Maggiore
Staying At a Real Palace
This was a beautiful highlight of our trip, a moment in time where I was able to treat my family by taking them to a lakeside palace, Regina Palace Hotel ❤️
This was the crown jewel amongst a beautiful necklace of luxury. From the moment we got off the train, and entered the hotel we knew we had finally arrived to our sanctuary. From hospitable locals, classic cocktails, boat tours and cozy scenic views, Lago Maggiore was the best of the northern lakes of Italy. I don’t think we really need to see any others, of coarse we will but this was all that my family craved. A fulfilling assortment of adventure, cultural enrichment, and tantalizing culinary delight.
A Dream Within Dreams
While staying at Regina Palace Hotel, my father was restless with excitement. When we woke up, we was dizzy with excitement from writing an entire book’s worth of ideas! I’d never seen him in such awe with wild inspiration as he was emanating with enthusiasm, creativity, and energy.
It was truly a beautiful thing to wake up to as we would take that energy and transition it into a beautiful breakfast and adventures of island hopping around the three Borromean Islands. I’ll go into more detail about the islands in my next post, as there were thousands of images and ideas to share!
